Our collection includes original works of art created by holocaust survivor Mel Mermelstein using materials collected from the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp. These pieces were created as a way to process the trauma and horror he experienced in the camps. 

 

Also included are holocaust artifacts collected from Europe, newspaper articles, historical photographs, and more to give context to the experience of being a Jew in Europe during World War II.
